while you were sleepin'...

I spent my birthday weekend in a haze. Too much food, too much cake, too much booze, etc... One thing I could not get enough of, though, was this song:

Off of the new Statik Selektah and Freeway project, The Statik Free EP (fucking brilliant name), this song is set over yet another Statik Selektah beat that I would classify as "pretty much perfect". Freeway rips it, of course, with his typical kick-you-in-the-teeth delivery, but Mac Miller really steals the show with his 16... Perhaps I've been snoozing a little myself on this cat..? I guess we'll see.

Either way, go cop the EP on iTunes like I did with that gift card we both know you got for Xmas. No need to come up out the pocket like Mike Vick, dogg... See what I did there?

while you were sleepin'...

'Ye and Hov let their new single go, which to me, is hopefully NOT a sign of things to come.

Some dude named J. Pinder, however, dropped the song below, and I'm feelin' that joint alot more. With production by Jake One, it's no wonder why...

while you were sleepin'...

A homeless man became the next great YouTube story, while I continue to suck at life.

Meet Ted Williams- A dirty, ugly, drug and alcohol-induced man that lives in a cardboard box, yet just so happens to have the voice of Jesus. Someone, somewhere, discovered this dude, filmed him...

... and now apparently NFL Films is interested in hiring him to do voiceovers and presumably make $40 bajillion a year. FML.

Real life ninja's were discovered in NYC...

A couple nerdy dudes created this game in their basement... Now it's scheduled for release next year on Xbox 360 and PC.

PS3 needs to get their shit together and make sure that they get it too!
