Joe Budden got even better.
A Turn 4 The Worst is the 4th installment, and yet another dope addition to Joey's
Mood Muzik series. Known as an emcee with a bad ear for the beats, I think the production on
MM4 is very good. Guest appearances are scarce, but solid, too. Lyrically, Budden is as on point as you'd expect, if only more emotional, sincere, and heartfelt with his bars.
From the album's second track,
"Aftermath" (my personal favorite), to the Lloyd Banks-Fabolous-Royce Da 5'9"-assisted
"Remember the Titans," to the highly personal
"Black Cloud," it cannot be denied that this tape is bangin' and definitely has high replay value. Some of his best work to date, no doubt.
